If I could give 100 "Likes," I would.

Abraham Lincoln was obviously guilty of treason. It was just unfortunate that he was never properly tried for it, as a bullet to the brain ended the nightmare rather quickly; they just didn't get a chance to put him on trial. Therefore, he was the one who should have been impeached, not his successor.

How can anyone be called a great President when there were more people killed under his term in office than happened to anyone else? The fact that there was a war within the nation tells me his term was a disaster, not a success.

And how could a nation that was born out of secession be wanting to go to war with a part of it that decided to secede? That is nonsensical! And to those who say that the Confederacy didn't properly secede, then they are admitting that Lincoln committed treason, since he declared war against the several States that were the Confederacy.

Yes, Lincoln should have been shot. But he should have been convicted of treason first.
