My go-to’s for working in the heat are Redmond’s Re-Lyte electrolyte mix. From what I can find, Redmond has some of the highest quality salt you can buy. It also uses Potassium CITRATE instead of chloride, which is great for treating and preventing kidney stones. Other key ingredients are Magnesium Malate as well as Magnesium glycinate. These are great for cardiovascular health, inflammatory disease, diabetes, sleep quality, Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis, headaches and many more.
Of course, if you want to keep it simple, pickle juice works wonders for dehydration cramps. No long ingredient list for this one, it just works lol
Have not had a full on dehydration blackout yet… Knock on wood. But sometimes get the “dizzies” from standing up to quickly when working in the heat. I wonder if that is also an indicator…
How about it readers? Any of you ever had an episode of dehydration? How bad was it? Curious how many folks have had similar experiences ...

(Also great in popsicle form on a hot day)
Nice ... good to see you being proactive to keep outta trouble. I once tried a bite of a pickle pop ... maybe they will grow on me ... 😝

Yep! It's an alert to go sit in the shade and drink ... thanks for the comment!
Just wondering how many times to admit to self inflicted "dry fainting" before looking like I have a learning disability? Gives a clue Doc..
Ha ha you funny! 🤪
